I am the owner + founder of White Moth. I began my career in the tattoo industry as a piercer in 2007. After piercing for many years, I decided to make the switch to cosmetic tattooing in the beginning of 2017. I’ve always had a deep love and respect for traditional tattooing and knew it was something I forever wanted to be a part of in some way. Being a huge form of self-expression for me since I was a young teen, I used tattooing throughout my life as a way to feel beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. It’s been a place for me where I truly felt like I belonged and could be myself. Little did I know at the time just how impactful those feelings would be or the path I was creating for myself.

In 2015 I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy, Winter. Upon his arrival, I decided to leave piercing and another profession behind to be with my son full time. After a two year period as a SAHM and a dissolution, it was time for me to get back to the grind. I had zero interest in returning to either previous professions but knew I still wanted to be involved in tattooing somehow. The more modern style of Cosmetic Tattooing had just started to surface as the rebrand for the old style of Permanent Makeup. I couldn’t believe how far it had come and how natural it looked in comparison. It blew my mind. I was utterly fascinated and felt like I had found my calling. Starting from zero as a newly single parent, I didn’t have much at the time and surely didn’t have anything to lose, I decided to find an educator and make my dream a reality. After completing my initial fundamental courses in early 2017, White Moth was born.

I had never expected White Moth to become what it is today. My love for cosmetic tattooing has taken me all over the country, seeking out the industry’s leading experts and top educators for more knowledge. This industry is forever evolving and continued education and learning is a never ending affair on its own. I have trained with top leaders in our industry and have spent an endless amount of time perfecting my craft through trainings, workshops, and studies over the years so that I am able to give my absolute best. My intense passion for my craft continues to flourish and thrive. Everyday I feel so honored and so lucky to work with all of my amazing clients. White Moth to me has been my opportunity to give back to everyone else what tattooing has given to me, a chance to feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. With my whole heart, I absolutely love what I do.
